FrostVend was born in 2023 from a fresh question about ice cream retail terminals: if we start from real sales scenarios, could we design a new-generation intelligent sales terminal that combines brand display, community retail, and bulk purchasing?
Concept Starting Point
Human engineers proposed product requirements based on ice cream sales characteristics, terminal merchandising needs, and customer buying habits. The AI large model continuously contributed design exploration and structural suggestions in areas such as efficient cooling, safe dispensing, and structural simplification.
Structure Direction Confirmed
FrostVendโs overall structural direction was confirmed, and human engineers began 3D modeling and engineering refinement. To reduce tooling costs and improve implementation efficiency, AI continued assisting with component search and compatibility analysis, helping the team identify many off-the-shelf industrial parts that could be directly reused.
Assembly and Testing
The product entered assembly and testing. Issues and faults emerged that had not been fully considered during the design phase. Human engineers and AI collaborated again, carrying out multiple rounds of refinement and correction on product details and the dispensing structure, gradually polishing the concept into a working product.
Pilot Deployment Validation
FrostVend began limited pilot site testing. So far, the results have largely met the original design expectations, and the product is now being promoted to the world.
